JDIFF Opens tomorrow night…..

It's almost the 18th of February and JDIFF is almost ready to kick off.....

That means Neil Jordan’s stunning feature ‘Ondine’ is currently being loaded onto the sprockets in the Savoy, the red carpet is ready to be unraveled, and the night is set to be unrivaled. As well as the vast variety of fantastic films, the suspense of the ‘Surprise Film’, and the practice of sharing cinema with cast and directors alike, we have 11 jam packed days ahead until ‘I Am Love’ closes this years highly anticipated Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.

This year the festival will bring you some of the latest and most cutting edge cinema from Russia and Korea as well as presenting a visual feast in the JDIFF archive series, Out of the Past. JDIFF will present a whole host of international film talent including experimental filmmaker Kenneth Anger, Patricia Clarkson, Kristen Scott Thomas and Tilda Swinton will be in attendance, as well as an array of Ireland’s very own outstanding filmakers and this is just where the list begin. There will be red carpet gala screenings, panel discussions, public interviews and much more. JDIFF promises to be most exciting film event of the year with a very special film for every single member of the audience.
