JDIFF presents, in association with the National Concert Hall, La Dolce Vita: Nina Rota Film Music performed by the DIT Symphony Orchestra, conducted by David Brophy

JDIFF is delighted to announce a very special event that is taking place as part of the next Jameson Dublin International Film Festival in 2010. As a celebration of the 50th anniversary of La Dolce Vita, JDIFF in association with the National Concert Hall will present an evening of music from world-renowned Italian composer, Nina Rota.

Rota, best known for his iconic film scores, collaborated with celebrated directors such as Frederico Fellini, Luchino Visconti, Franco Zeffirelli and Francis Ford Coppola. This enchanting event will present a selection of Rota’s most loved work, including: La Dolce Vita, The Godfather, La Strada, Fellini’s Waltz, The Leopard, 8 1/2 and Prova d’orchestra.

La Dolce Vita will also be screened during the 2010 festival.
